JOB SUMMARYย 
Under the direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Manager or team lead, the pharmaceutical labeler, ensures labels are placed on packages accurately and efficiently.ย 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESย 
Print out labels for medicationsย 
Ensure that labels are placed on the correct medication in a timely mannerย 
Assembles, labels and provides supplies as required under specific contractsย 
Participates in quality assurance activities as directedย 
Performs general housekeeping duties in the department on daily basisย 
Files documents appropriately according to P&P'sย 
Communicates appropriately with all members of the healthcare team.ย 
Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities education programs and department/branch meetings.ย 
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSย 
Education, Certificates and Experienceย 
High school diploma or equivalent.ย 
Previous experience working in a fast paced environment which requires a high level of accuracy. Language Skillsย 
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.ย 
Ability to understand basic medical terminology. Mathematical Skillsย 
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.ย 
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and must be able to perform basic algebraic calculations. Reasoning Abilityย 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.ย 
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
