Pouch Machine Operator

Golden State Foods – Conyers, GA | Full-Time 2nd Shift (Zone A - 2:30 PM- 10:30 PM)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Pouch Machine Operator to run pouch and filling equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and product quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Operate pouch machines and related equipment (W25-1 & 2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, fillers)

• Load film carts and execute proper film roll installation

• Perform lockout/tagout and follow all safety and food safety procedures

• Adjust weights and settings to maintain product specifications

• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues

• Complete production paperwork, downtime logs, and metal detection records

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment (CIP/COP)

• Maintain clean and safe work areas

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• High school diploma or GED

• 1–3 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience

• Ability to read instructions, labels, and production paperwork

• Basic math skills for weights and measurements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 7+ hours

• Ability to work in wet, cold, humid, or noisy environments

THE SCHEDULE & SETTING

• Full-time role supporting production operations

• Work includes damp, humid, cold/hot environments and proximity to moving machinery

• PPE required: safety glasses, hearing protection, bump cap, gloves, etc.
