Job description

Position Summary
Owns finished-goods packaging and bulk inventory management for flower SKUs. Manages packaging line throughput, label accuracy, and packaging-room compliance. Coordinates closely with Fulfillment on outbound orders.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute daily packaging runs for flower SKUs (various weights: 1g, 3.5g, 7g, 14g, 28g as applicable)
  • Manage bulk flower inventory: receive from Harvest, allocate to packaging runs, reconcile balances daily
  • Verify packaging artwork, labels, and lot codes match approved specs before each run
  • Oversee state-compliant labeling: warnings, batch numbers, cannabinoid content, expiration
  • Direct 4-6 packaging production technicians; assign and balance workload
  • Maintain packaging room sanitation and equipment per SOP
  • Manage packaging material inventory (jars, bags, exit bags, labels); reorder per par levels with Inventory Coordinator
  • Track packaging KPIs: units per labor hour, defect rate, label error rate
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years cannabis or regulated CPG packaging experience; 1+ year supervisory
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state-compliant cannabis labeling requirements
  • Comfort managing bulk inventory and reconciling shrinkage
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Must pass Kentucky cannabis agent background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automated weigh-fill or pre-roll equipment
  • Familiarity with KY medical cannabis labeling rules
