Delivery Drivers Description: Delivery drivers deliver pizzas and other food orders. Fordelivery customers, the driver may be their only contact with and impression ofJet's Pizza. The delivery driver delivers products on an established route,collects money from customers, and makes change.


Characteristics/Qualifications:
(i) Must be at least 18 years old.
(ii) Excellent driving record.
(iii) Valid driver's license. Some states require a chauffeur's license.
(iv) Car registration up-to-date.
(v) Proof of car insurance (make sure current at all times). Check to makesure it covers business use of auto.
(vi) Reasoning ability.
(vii) Mathematical ability.
(viii) Language ability.
(ix) Communication and interpersonal ability.

Responsibilities:
(i) Drives vehicle to deliver pizza and other product to customer's home orplace of business.
(ii) Collects money from customer, makes change, and records transactionson customer receipt.
(iii) Records sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.(iv) Checks order accuracy.
(v) Checks product quality and price.
(vi) Checks delivery customer's address and location.
(vii) Listens to and resolves service complaints.
(viii) Assists the other employees when periods are slow and other duties canbe assigned.
(ix) Have a clean car always (inside and out).
