Duties:
- Perform lab testing in the Core Lab, and report results according to SOP.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.
- Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.
- Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.
Skills:
- Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary;
- new graduates welcome.
Education:
- Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology Associates degree required.
Preferred Education:
- BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology is preferred.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification.
Schedule Notes:
- 11p-7am
- Mon-Fri, every 3rd weekend Sat/Sun, with a day off before and after the weekend they work.
- Rotating holidays, typically 2 or 3 per year.
