  • Support process trial experiments to improve system performance and quality.
  • Collect, process, and analyze test data using engineering tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar).
  • Assist in root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D.
  • Help with BMS integration into test setups, including wiring, communication, and instrumentation.
  • Assist with system-level engineering activities such as requirements definition, DFMEA, and validation plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineering) to support development activities.
  • Document results and present findings to the engineering teams.

Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong interest in battery systems, energy storage, or electrified systems
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, hardware, or prototyping
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and experimental methods
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

You're the Ideal Candidate if You Have

  • Exposure to systems engineering practices (requirements, FMEA, validation)
  • Experience working in a lab or hardware development environment

Why Join Us
  • Work on cutting-edge battery technology
  • Gain hands-on engineering experience building real hardware
  • Collaborate with a small, highly technical startup team
