What does a lab technician or lab assistant do?

A Lab Technician or Lab Assistant is responsible for supporting scientific investigations by conducting tests, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and recording data. They work under the supervision of scientists or medical professionals in various settings such as hospitals, research labs, and pharmaceutical companies. Their tasks may include analyzing samples, ensuring proper labeling, following safety protocols, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the lab.
