XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is NOW HIRING for a Lab Technician / Lab Assistant position!

Location: Farmers Branch, TX 75244
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Dress Code: Shorts, T-shirts, and tennis shoes. Must follow GMP policy.
PPE: Hair net and gloves.

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician / Lab Assistant will support daily operations within the product development lab. This junior-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new processes, and contributing to the creation of beverage samples for clients. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow formulas and procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and prepare beverage samples according to formulas and provided instructions
  • Accurately measure ingredients using scales and basic laboratory equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while following GMP guidelines
  • Label, document, and track sample batches accurately
  • Assist with inventory tracking of raw materials and lab supplies
  • Support the lab team with daily tasks and operational needs
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards throughout the process

Position Requirements:

  • 6 months–2 years of experience in a lab, production, food/beverage, or similar environment preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with Excel/Microsoft Office
  • Experience operating a scale and working with measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
