Medical Laboratory Technician

The Medical Laboratory Technician, under indirect supervision and in a timely manner, accurately and precisely performs and reports laboratory test results according to established hospital and departmental policies. Daily assumes responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance. Daily interacts and responds to patients, physicians, and co-workers in a professional manner, remembering that patient care is our priority. Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
