Job Requirements
  • Experience in a cath lab, cardiac cath lab, or invasive cardiovascular setting preferred

  • Current cardiovascular invasive credential required; ARRT or RCIS accepted
  • BLS required prior to direct patient care
  • ACLS required, or PALS if specialty assignment requires it
  • Strong clinical knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and patient care
  • Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced procedural environment with shifting priorities
  • Flexibility to support on-call coverage and stay late when procedures extend beyond the scheduled shift
Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during cardiovascular and interventional procedures in scrub, monitor, and float roles
  • Provide effective patient care across all acuity levels in the invasive procedural area
  • Support moderate sedation under physician supervision when applicable
  • Prepare and manage patients, equipment, supplies, and procedural documentation
  • Operate imaging and digital acquisition systems according to safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate charting, patient data entry, and charge capture in the electronic medical record
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure procedure room readiness
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety, and performance initiatives
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care
  • Support complex cases involving PCI, IABP, Impella, FFR, IVUS, pacemakers, EP, structural heart, ECMO, and neuro-interventional procedures
