How you'll contribute:

An MLT - Medical Lab Technician  who excels in this role:

       Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.

       Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

       Performs quality control testing.

       Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.

       Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.

       Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

       Assists with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing and transporting specimens.

       Maintains work area in a safe, aseptic and organized manner.

What we're looking for:
Applicants should have a current Tennessee MLT (ASCP) certification or AMT license. Associates of Applied Science degree in Clinical Lab Technology or equivalent certification by a CLIA approved credentialing organization. Additional requirements include: 

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 60 days of hire
