Job Description
Description:
13-week Cath Lab Tech assignment with variable day shifts, including (5) 8-hour shifts, (4) 10-hour shifts, or (2) 8-hour and (2) 12-hour shifts. The Cardiovascular/Interventional Lab provides both inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral interventions, venography, pacemaker insertions, and a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures. On-call coverage of 8-12 days per month, including one full weekend of call each month, is required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
Current RCIS certification
Current AHA BLS certification
Current AHA ACLS certification
Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
Ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when called
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and patient monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
