This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 4 × 10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with one rotating day off each week. No nights, weekends, or holidays required.
Job Description
The Electrophysiology Technologist will assist Electrophysiology Physicians in conducting procedures within the EP Lab. Responsibilities include scrubbing for device implants such as pacemakers, ICDs, and ICMs, as well as ablation procedures, operating radiofrequency generators, and performing cardioversions. The technologist is also responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and pan tables as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in Electrophysiology procedures including device implants and ablation procedures.
  • Operate radiofrequency generators and fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Perform cardioversions as needed.
  • Assist in Cardiac Catheterization procedures when necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Experience in EP Laboratory and Cath Laboratory settings.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • RCES certification preferred but not mandatory.
