Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position with full-time hours (specific shifts will be provided upon assignment)
Qualifications & Experience:
  • ARRT certification or equivalent (required)
  • Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech highly preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong technical proficiency in imaging equipment
  • Exceptional communication and patient education skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab
  • Assist physicians in radiological imaging and act as scrub assistant, ensuring sterile conditions
  • Operate imaging equipment, monitor procedures, and document images and clinical events
  • Deliver patient care under the supervision of the RN; educate patients and families about procedures and expected outcomes
  • Maintain unit cleanliness and manage stock for interventions and diagnostics
  • Complete accurate daily, progress, and discharge documentation
  • Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhanced patient satisfaction and safety
