Job Overview:
 
Pay Range: $21hr - $26hr
  • Responsible for supporting manufacturing and laboratory IT systems, devices, and infrastructure including hardware, network support, asset management, and end-user troubleshooting. 
  • The role involves maintaining IT equipment in lab and manufacturing environments while ensuring compliance with GMP/GxP standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, lab, or distribution center IT systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for IT devices and infrastructure.
  • Advanced communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Knowledge of GMP and GxP environments.
  • Experience working in clean room or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-priority support environments.
  • Understanding of IT asset lifecycle management.

Experience:

  • Experience supporting lab or manufacturing IT equipment such as scanners, printers, PCs, tablets, and specialized devices.
  • Experience with network device support including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Experience providing hands-on IT support in production environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing and lab IT systems and devices.
  • Troubleshoot IT hardware including printers, scanners, tablets, PCs, and specialized lab equipment.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for AV devices including projectors, cameras, microphones, and displays.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT device and mobility-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with network, server teams, and OEM vendors for issue resolution.
  • Perform rack and stack activities for IT infrastructure equipment.
  • Support data center operations including shutdown and maintenance activities.
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle including collection, labeling, imaging, allocation, recovery, and disposal.
  • Provide on-demand smart hands and physical IT support.
  • Coordinate cable patching and vendor support activities.
  • Ensure network connectivity, Wi-Fi, printer, voice, and video systems are operational.
  • Support installation and configuration of hardware and software components.
  • Maintain IT documentation and system updates.
  • Provide access support for vendors in IDF/MDF/MMR and data center rooms.
  • Follow change control procedures for system updates and maintenance.
  • Support clean room and manufacturing environment entry protocols and safety standards.
  • Assist in critical incident response (P1/P2) with proactive support readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with 5S and IT room organization standards.

Should Have:

  • Advanced Microsoft skills including server support.
  • Experience in IT asset management tools and processes.
