Essential Duties
This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester.
Perform tasks in a professional and safety-oriented manner under supervision.
Assist in daily operations at the ASU Food Safety and Product Development Laboratory. Duties include harvesting, processing, packaging of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
Must provide own transportation to 7945 Grape Creek Rd, San Angelo, TX 76901.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding position in a meat processing facility. Most duties will be performed in a refrigerated environment and require safety work wear (coat, boots, gloves, hair-nets). Work wear is provided.
Salary
$10.00/hr
