Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma

  • Must be a current USF student seeking part-time employment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Must be able to supervise other students and demonstrate effective customer service skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.

  • Maintain good standing regarding Student Code of Conduct.

  • Attention to detail.

  • The candidate should be a problem solver who is capable of following FFSAEC procedures and policies.

  • Must be a confident self-starter and one who can function as a team leader.

Core Duties:

The core duties of the Lab Supervisor within the Fishman Family Student-Athlete Enrichment Center (FFSAEC) will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervision of the Chris T. Sullivan Academic Center and the Naimoli Family Computer Learning Center to ensure an optimal academic environment.

  • Supervision of the individual and group tutoring rooms during tutorial appointments.

  • Generating daily tutor reports for respective Academic Coordinators.

  • General maintenance responsibilities pertaining to the Chris T. Sullivan Academic Center, Naimoli Family Computer Learning Center, and all individual and group tutoring rooms.

  • General upkeep of all FFSAEC supplies.

  • Assist in upholding USF and NCAA academic integrity rules and policies within the FFSAEC.

  • Other duties as assigned

Average Number of Hours per Week/Schedule:

Approximately 10-20 hours per week; preferred availability in the morning, early afternoon, and early evenings
