LabCorp is seeking aSpecimenAccessioner/Processorto joinour teamat Henry Ford St. John in Detroit, MI.

Work Schedule:Part time working 6:30AM-3:00PM. Will work 2-3 rotating days/week and every other weekend

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratoryspecimens for analysis and testing

Unpack and routespecimens to their respective staging areas

Accuratelyidentifyand labelspecimens

Pack and shipspecimens to proper testing facilities

Meet department activity and production goals

Properly prepare and store excessspecimen samples

Data entry of patient information inan accurateandtimelymanner

Resolve and document any problemspecimens

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months or moreof experiencein a medical or production environment

Additional Job Standards:

Comfortable handling biologicalspecimens

Ability to accuratelyidentifyspecimens

Experience working in a team environment

Strong data entry and organizational skills

High levelof attention to detail

Proficient in MS Office

Ability tolift upto 40lbs.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
