Job description

Immediate need for a talented Senior Lab Administrator (Security/Red Team). This is a 18 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $75 - $90/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Seeking a Senior Lab Administrator to support the Red Team. 
  • This role is to design, deploy, and maintain a complex lab environment of various technologies to enable threat simulation, security research, and other evaluation activities that play a direct role in enhancing the overall security posture of the organization. 
  • Another key responsible is coordinating with various teams to define, intake, and deliver on a variety of technical requirements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Search Keywords - Cyber Security, Active Directory/DNS/DHCP, Security Lab/Red Team/Pen Testing, Dev SecOps, CI/CD, Linux, VMWare/Virtualization
  • Must have 7 years of IT experience relevant to cyber ranges or research lab environments.
  • Must have experience with CI/CD pipeline and automating infrastructure.
  • Must have experience with design, deploy, and maintain various networking, operating systems, and common enterprise services.
  • Must have experience with design, deploy, and maintain various virtualization and containerization solutions.
  • Must have experience with design, deploy, and maintain various security controls and solutions.
  • Ability to work with both programing and scripting languages.
  • Must be able to both work independently as well as effectively work in teams.
  • Must have excellent communication and documentation skills to be able to intake requests, develop remediation plans, and standardize run
  • books/diagrams.
  • Red team or Malware oriented certifications.
  • Previous experience working in a cyber range environment is a plus.
