Responsibilities
Responsible for the oversight of phlebotomy and specimen processing services. Serves as the technical expert in phlebotomy and specimen collection. Coordinates phlebotomy and lab assistant activities to ensure timely, safe, efficient specimen collection and processing according to established collection protocols.
Qualifications
Education
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Work Experience
  • 2 years of phlebotomy experience and/or lab processor or lab assistant Required
  • Experience working in a hospital Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • None Required
  • CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
