Assay Laboratory Technician, Metallurgy - Tucson, AZ
Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world's top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Minerals team in Tucson, AZ. Intertek Minerals provides geochemical assay and testing services, minerals inspection and trade services to support the minerals and mining supply chain globally from grassroots exploration to final product shipment. With industry-recognized technical expertise and an established global network, Intertek offers end to end Total Quality Assurance across our clients' entire resource development chain.
What are we looking for?
The Assay Laboratory Technician is responsible for materials testing processes, weighing samples, sample digestion, DIBK, diluting solution samples, AA readings, handling and preparing samples, and providing written analysis in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate for the Assay Laboratory Technician role will have a desire to work in learning environment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and/or in a team setting.
Shift/Schedule: Standard office hours, Monday-Friday

Diluting solution samples for AA and ICP
