What You’ll Do:

  • Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, bulks, and finished products
  • Prepare and sterilize media; perform growth promotion and sterility testing
  • Conduct swab sampling, viable environmental monitoring, and water testing
  • Maintain neat, accurate, and GMP-compliant documentation and logs
  • Handle and identify viable bacterial strains using aseptic techniques
  • Track lab inventory and maintain clean, safe lab conditions
  • Train new lab personnel and serve as backup to the Senior Microbiologist or Supervisor (Level II)
  • Lead shift change meetings and participate in plant hygiene initiatives (Level II)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related science field with Microbiology coursework preferred
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, lab safety, and microbiological procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  • Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, standing or sitting for long periods, and performing repetitive lab tasks
  • Basic computer skills and clear written communication
