We are searching for a talented Laboratory Call Center Specialist

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm; 2 lesser holidays per year

Location: Outreach Lab - Dartmouth, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Position reports to TL-Acct. Mgr.-Lab Sr. or designee and supports the Laboratory Outreach Program acting as a liaison to all clients, patients, and providers in our primary and secondary market areas. Duties include responding to and solving problems related to laboratory specimen procurement, test ordering, result delivery and billing, Incumbents are expected to provide support for all areas of the Laboratory, including all hospital sites pathology, SPG offices and all Outreach Patient Service Centers as well as the mobile outreach team. Additional responsibilities include careful documentation and follow up of all patient and client related activity, investigation and resolution of work queue exceptions, and participation in any Laboratory related Quality events. Also responsible for supply maintenance and for assisting and providing coverage for the appointment desk Call Center representatives.

Qualifications
  • Equal to completion of four years of high school required.
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology or additional courses or training required.
  • A minimum of one year related work experience is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $18.36 - USD $29.27 /Hr.
