The Place to Play, Stay, and Engage...

The Community - Pekin, IL

When County Surveyor William Hodge laid out the plan for Pekin in 1829, he undoubtedly had no idea he was creating one of Central Illinois' best outdoor playgrounds. Today you can still feel the passion for free spirited fun throughout the Illinois River Valley. Wetlands, forests, savannas and prairies, and the birds, butterflies and wildlife who call them home, await your discovery.
