Description - What You Will Accomplish
  • Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols for excellence.
  • Evaluate test results for integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are maintained and calibrated correctly.
  • Assist with collecting specimens and preparing samples for analysis when required.
  • Comprehensively document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and support the maintenance of lab quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure that the workspace is organized, safe, and compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Maintain current certification throughout employment duration.
