  • Build full-scope skills: Learn to assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions and perform procedures like suturing, wound care, and splinting, all under direct supervision.
  • Step into independent practice: After completing the program and skills-based competency testing, take on your full provider role.
  • Clinical care & procedures: Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and perform procedures like suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, joint injections, and splinting.
  • Patient experience & flow: Support patients through their care journey with clear communication, run telemedicine visits, handle follow-ups (lab results, refills, messages), and partner with medical assistants, scribes, and front office staff to keep flow moving.
  • Tech-enabled documentation: Document encounters in the EMR and use AI copilots for clinical decision support and streamlined workflow, keeping records timely and complete.
  • Team collaboration & leadership: Work alongside supervising physicians and clinical staff, mentor interns and students, and join performance feedback and quality improvement.

Requirements
  • NYS PA license + NCCPA certification
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • EMR experience and strong HIPAA knowledge
