Position Summary:

The X-Clinic Supervisor (XCS) plays a key role in ensuring seamless and professional patient navigation, sexual health education, and clinical support services. Reporting to the Manager of CHARS the XCS supports both clinical operations and community-based prevention efforts. This role includes leading the X-Clinic Navigation team, supporting daily clinic operations, ensuring compliance with HIV/STI prevention grants, and enhancing service delivery for communities most at risk for HIV, HCV, and other STIs.

The XCS works closely with clinicians, program managers, and community partners to develop and improve workflows, monitor grant deliverables, and promote access to care through a harm reduction and health equity lens.


Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership & Oversight

· Supervise and onboard X-Clinic Clinical Navigators

· Ensure Navigator coverage for every X-Clinic session

· Provide coaching and performance feedback to navigation staff

· Develop workflows for PrEP, routine STI testing, express models, and referral services

· Take the lead on monthly DPH calls

· Work on grant proposals and other support needed by the CHARS Manager

· Work with the State Lab to correct any ITLS form mistakes

Program & Data Management

· Collaborate with the CHARS Program Manager to ensure all grant deliverables are met

· Monitor and support timely and accurate data entry and documentation

· Assist with organizing data deliverables for internal reporting and grants

· Maintain and update PrEP client database, including retention outreach

· Ensure all external results are entered into Epic daily

Clinical Support

· Act as a Clinical Navigator during clinic sessions as needed

· Ensure a high-quality, client-centered experience for all patients

· Work with PrEP Navigator to support engagement and retention in care

· Ensure clients who schedule an appointment through SXT are called and scheduled daily

Community Engagement & Systems Improvement

· Use systems-thinking to improve clinic efficiency and client outcomes

· Expand X-Clinic services including outreach, sexual health education, and family planning

· Build and maintain community partnerships to enhance referral networks and patient support

· Apply a harm reduction framework in all patient and community interactions

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

· Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in Public Health, HIV/STI prevention, or related field

· Familiarity working with diverse populations including LGBTQIA+ individuals, people who use drugs, and culturally diverse communities

· Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills

· Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), such as Epic

· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft suite including excel

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (4+ years)

· Experience with STI prevention, counseling, outreach, or care navigation

· Bilingual Spanish/Haitian Creole a plus

Physical Requirements: 

· Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (at least 50% of the time)

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and load onto shelves

· Visual acuity sufficient for frequent reading and computer use
