Job description

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Hardware PC Technician / Field Support Engineer based in Las Vegas, NV to support our hardware operations and data collection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and troubleshoot desktop PCs, workstations, and peripheral hardware for data collection and AI research projects
  • Set up and maintain hardware environments including monitors, cameras, sensors, and recording equipment for on-site data collection activities
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and replacements as needed
  • Image and deploy systems using standard OS and software configurations
  • Support equipment logistics — packing, shipping, tracking, and inventory management across Las Vegas & Redmond locations
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and project teams to ensure hardware readiness ahead of project timelines
  • Document hardware configurations, asset tracking, and maintenance logs accurately
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in hardware PC building, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of PC components — CPUs, GPUs, RAM, storage, motherboards, power supplies, and peripherals
  • Experience with OS imaging and deployment (Windows 10/11, basic Linux)
  • Comfortable working with cables, racks, and physical hardware setups in lab or office environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured setup and configuration procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation in the Las Vegas area

Preferred Qualifications
