Below, you'll find other important information about this position.Responsible for pickup and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies to designated locations in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Valid driver's license with good driving history.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Provide timely pickup and delivery of all lab supplies and lab packages.

2. Ensure lab orders are complete and organized prior to delivery.

3. Collaborate with staff to obtain the correct supplies and paperwork.

4. Adhere to delivery schedule and reports to the hospital once deliveries are complete.

5. Perform a daily cleaning of vehicle.

6. Maintain a vehicle maintenance log.

7. Monitor periodic maintenance and inspections.

8. Pick orders, unload trucks, and put supplies away in the stockroom.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Very hard work - exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.

2. Frequent standing, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking. Must have ability to grasp, stoop, stand, and hold.
