Job description

The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a "Lab Chemist" for a top leading company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and support analytical laboratory equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors to commission and qualify laboratory instruments.
  • Develop, update, and optimize analytical test methods.
  • Lead laboratory projects supporting operational and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain GMP compliance and accurate laboratory documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferred; equivalent laboratory experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical or manufacturing laboratory.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment commissioning and analytical method development preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMP regulations and laboratory documentation practices.
  • Strong project leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.


Additional Information:

  • Location: Cordova, IL
  • Duration: 12-months contract
  • Pay: $21–$25/hour (DOE)
