What youll do
  • Conducts all R&D laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.
  • Provides support for various projects assigned by Sr. Chemist and/or Lab Manager
  • Prepare batch formulations according to written instructions by Sr. Chemist and/or Lab Manager
  • Understand chemical ingredients and formulate under instructions
  • Employ problem solving skill sets to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates
  • Collect and organize data in a coherent format
  • Communicate basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcome
  • Comfortable with a variety of curing and dispensing equipment
  • Understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques relevant to adhesive product testing
  • Prepare sampling/shipping papers
