Job description

Urgent Care office in Ocean City, Maryland seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, Physician Assistant to become part of our excellent team. Facility is currently staffed by Physicians and Physician Assistants.
Provider will be supported by trained staff from the front desk receptionist to the medical assistant to the x-ray technician. Physician is on-site and actively seeing patients.
Facility has rapid in-house lab testing, state-of-the-art digital x-ray, and orthopedic supplies. Care ranges from simple sore throats to fractures, to chest pain/stroke early management, amongst many other complaints
The office is less than half a mile from the beach. Outdoor activities are numerous if you like to swim, kayak, sail, and fish, just to name a few things. Assateague State Park is close and offers hiking and camping opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Must be NCCPA Certified
  • BLS Certified, Eligible to take ACLS
  • Eligible for Maryland License
  • New Graduates Welcome to Apply
  • Must be able to see and treat patients of all ages.
  • Must be able to perform laceration repairs, I & D of abscesses and paronychia's, foreign body removal, toe nail removal.
  • Must be familiar with management of minor fractures and dislocations.
  • Must be familiar with splinting and fracture stabilization.
  • Should be able to perform basic EKG and X-ray interpretation.
