The Nursing and Basic Nursing Assistant Lab Assistant position requires a strong commitment to student mentoring and support, while incorporating technology and innovation in the reinforcing of concepts, clinical judgement, and validation of skills. Candidates must be able to work actively and collegially with lab staff and department faculty. Other related nursing lab support responsibilities may be assigned.
Candidate must be willing to work all MVCC campuses (Main Campus in Palos Hills, Blue Island ECBI, Tinley SWEC)
Education/Experience
Requires a Master's degree in Nursing; a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in the past five years and a current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in IL.Recent clinical experience, simulation/lab experience, and/or teaching experience in a community college nursing program preferred.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In an addition to the above, the following qualifications are sought:
Commitment to student success with a willingness to learn and expand new content areas.
Ability to work one Saturday a month as needed, and be available to work Monday through Friday some of the hours preferably in the afternoons and evenings.
