Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $60,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours)

  • Builds and/or adapts unique setup and test equipment for complex tests using independent judgment.
  • Applies working knowledge of applicable test requirements and performs tests using general laboratory equipment.
  • Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area.
  • Operates a computer to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. 
  • Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions.
  • Determines need for and seeks consultation from engineers or laboratory technicians.
  • Analyzes test results.
  • Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed.
  • Receives instructions from and reports data to supervisor and personnel in engineering and laboratory operations as needed.
  • Prepares data sheets and records observed or calculated test results.
  • Assembles test data for appropriate distribution. 
  • Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
