Description

  • Performs specimen handling, labeling, and processing activities in accordance with established laboratory protocols and procedures.
  • Utilizes both manual and computerized systems to support laboratory operations and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Reviews incoming materials and documentation to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with identification and safety standards.
  • Assists in preparing, organizing, and distributing samples and materials to designated work areas or departments.
  • Communicates effectively with healthcare staff and patients, providing updates or information related to test results and laboratory services as appropriate.
  • Maintains organized records, supports data entry functions, and performs general clerical tasks to ensure smooth laboratory workflow.
  • Operates computer systems to access and input data, generate reports, and assist with routine administrative processes.
  • Provides support in the transport of materials and supplies within or between facilities as needed to ensure timely service.
