Location: Westfield/Carmel, IN

Position Overview

Our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing cardiovascular team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing electrophysiology procedures in a collaborative, fast-paced surgical environment.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits and the chance to contribute to a developing program within a startup ASC setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures including diagnostic EP studies, ablations, and device implantations (pacemakers and ICDs).

  • Perform pre-procedure assessments and ensure appropriate patient preparation.

  • Circulate and/or monitor during procedures; assist physicians and procedural team as needed.

  • Administer and monitor conscious sedation per protocol.

  • Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and patient hemodynamic status.

  • Provide post-procedure recovery care and patient education.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

  • Ensure adherence to sterile technique and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Respond effectively to emergency situations.


Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred).

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience required.

  • Prior Cath Lab, EP Lab, ICU, or Cardiac Stepdown experience strongly preferred.
    Cath Lab nurses interested in transitioning into electrophysiology are encouraged to apply.

  • BLS certification required.

  • ACLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to function in a procedural setting.
