We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. Job Description
The Medical Assistant will support providers with both clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dermatology experience is highly preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow.
Responsibilities:
  • Room patients and prepare them for examination
  • Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints
  • Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies
  • Perform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling (as permitted by role/training)
  • Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures
  • Provide patient education and relay provider instructions
  • Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requests
  • Support scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and team members
