Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Clinical Services, Specimen Processor working from our Phoenix, AZ office location, with a start date of August 31, 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Specimen Processor
This position is responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. Evaluates the needs of internal and external clients to provide high-quality customer service. Provide support as needed and defined by those to whom the position reports. Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Company's policies and applicable standard operating procedures. This role will spend the most time performing data entry login of specimen-related details, accessioning samples into the laboratory information system according to the given protocol with minimal errors and scanning requisitions with all related paperwork, and accurately labeling specimen(s)/slide(s) and ensuring timely distribution to the appropriate areas.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the laboratory field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year lab accessioning experience preferred; previous experience in health care/lab, or pharmaceutical industry preferred.

  • Monday - Friday, 5 days/week in the office from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, exempt position, working from the Phoenix, AZ office location.
