Job description

We are seeking for a Lab Tech responsible for performing fundamental lab support duties in assigned areas. Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and work area in compliance with GMP, safety and company procedures. Prepares lab for daily operations, including routine cleaning lab

glassware, equipment used for inhalation product testing, stocking materials, safety,

cleanliness, waste disposal and related areas.


Salary: $20-$25 an hour (Based on experience)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing fundamental lab support duties in assigned areas.
  • Perform manual cleaning or operate laboratory dishwashers as appropriate, in accordance with approved SOPs to ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use in analytical testing activities.
  • Prepares lab for daily operations, including stocking materials, equipment, safety cleanliness, and related areas.
  • Manage weekly inventory of laboratory supplies, cleaning agents, and consumables.
  • Supports analysts with sample management, material handling, and laboratory organization.
  • Disposes of laboratory materials, waste and samples using well-established guidelines and instructions.
  • Responsible for providing assistance, preserving, preparing, processing and maintenance of lab solutions, which involve knowledge on fundamental lab support policies, programs and practices while completing appropriate forms,
  • documents and databases as needed.
  • Clean workstation areas and equipment’s as per SOP.
  • Conduct periodic inventory reconciliation & administration as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned (after training).
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Perform physical tasks associated with laboratory operations, including lifting, carrying and moving equipment, materials, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, while following applicable safety procedures and ergonomic practices.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with team members.
  • Ensure lab work and maintenance is conducted in accordance with SOPs; follow safety rules and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Comply with all Corporate guidelines and policies
  • High school degree or Associate degree with 0-1 years of experience.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or analytical laboratory.
  • Ability to follow SOP’s, maintain accurate records and work effectively in a friendly team environment.
  • Experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical, analytical, or quality control laboratory preferred.
  • Mobility to work in a lab setting, use standard lab equipment and stamina to stand for extended periods of time; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
