Job description

Laars Heating Systems is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Product Support Team to provide technical product support for our contractors, manufactures representatives, homeowners and other Laars related customers.
Responsibilities:
  1. Provide documentation and technical support for our products including: plumbing, electrical, gas, venting as well as technical troubleshooting
  2. Participate and support the creation of all technical service procedures and bulletin documentation
  3. Provide parts identification for the Laars products
  4. Attend field job sites for product support as required
  5. Attend job related courses to update product knowledge and skills
  6. Communicate field feedback to the sales, service and engineering groups
  7. Participate in Laars-sponsored educational training seminars
  8. Act as a liaison between technical support and engineering as new troubleshooting requirements become necessary.
  9. Participate in new product development process by attending product and service review meetings
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned

Education Requirement:
High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in a Technical major, preferred
Experience/Skills Requirements:
  1. 3+ years' experience with HVAC systems, equipment, design, applications and service
  2. Strong customer service focus
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills
  4. Proficient knowledge of MS Office
  5. Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural drawings
  6. Ability to interpret engineering specifications and design
  7. Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, CAD
  8. Knowledge and Understanding of Boiler and Water Heater Sequencing, Building Management Systems and Building Automation Systems including BACNet, Lon Works, Modbus and their protocols
