JOB DESCRIPTION:
The LA Kings are seeking a part-time Social Production Assistant (PA). The Social PA position is focused on the execution and consistent deployment of the LA Kings Social and Content Strategy. They will be primarily working alongside the Social Specialist in pursuit of the organizational goals. This position will report directly to the Social Specialist.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Collaborate with Social Specialist on execution of the Content Calendar for all LAK owned and operated social media channels
    • LA Kings, Kings Care Foundation, Bailey, and Ice Crew
  • Manage each community across all channels (Comments, DM's, etc.)
  • Maintain content calendar with guidance of Social Specialist
  • Assist on tagging posts for future reporting and internal use
  • Support content and production shoots, both on location and at the office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The Social PA must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skill and abilities:
  • Passion for sports and live entertainment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Desire to learn more about sports and entertainment industry

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS & EXPECTATIONS:
Education:
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited university
  • Marketing, Communication, Business Majors

Expectations:
  • Local to Los Angeles Area
  • 80% office work (in-person), business office located in El Segundo, CA
  • 20% work at home games for select games

Payscale: $20.00
Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
Benefits Part-time: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
