Our client who is a full-service real estate investment, development and asset management company. 

Job Description

Be responsible for and review work of staff 

Prepare schedules to support balance sheet accounts in conjunction with PM's: Unbilled AR, Prepaids, Accrued expenses , Fixed assets including depreciation and amortization schedules

Prepare necessary journal entries for review by controller

Assist with preparation of monthly reporting packages for distribution to partners and clients

Understand variance analysis for assigned properties and work with PM's to properly explain in monthly reports

Assist with annual budgets in coordination with PM's and upload into MRI

Review accruals and P&L variance explanations prepared by PM's 

Compile monthly reports for distribution to partners and clients

Assist PM's with CAM reconciliations

Review and approve new vendors to be set up in MRI

Coordinate with PM's, AM, and leasing to prepare the monthly cash requirements analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA a plus, working towards CPA required

Experience with MRI a plus

Experience with R/E industry, specifically office buildings and development a plus

Understanding of GAAP and income tax basis financial reporting

Deep understanding of Excel

Able to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment

Ability to work effectively in a team an independently

Additional Information

70-80 plus bonus
