Job Summary
The primary responsibility is to provide support and complete specified game day operational functions and tasks. Game-Day Specialized Operations Assistant may support different functions depending on the need for the assigned game. This position is an "as needed" role that provides support to game day and special events. Specific duties and pay may vary based on the skills of individual and the specific needs of the game day/special events.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Completes operational function and tasks assigned for each game dependent on game day needs which may include: photography, camera operator, statistician, etc.
2. Adheres to all university, NCAA, and conference policies, rules, and regulations, particularly as they relate to the support of athletic events
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of athletic equipment handling and facility maintenance
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Some college coursework or an undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in event support, athletics, or customer service
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the event schedule
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
