Position Overview
As a Media Account Executive, your core goal will be to identify and qualify high potential client opportunities to partner with Bonneville. You'll learn to develop strategic marketing solutions across radio, digital, and integrated platforms. With coaching and training, you will prospect new clients, grow accounts, and deliver measurable results through customized campaigns. Account Executives are responsible for pipeline management, lead generation, growing business and driving revenue through client calls and meetings. Our fast-paced sales team has an infectious drive to exceed individual and team revenue goals. The ideal candidate for this position is an emerging sales professional who is independent, self-motivated, and can confidently represent our brands.
Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.
  • This position is primarily a remote role that requires the employee to regularly be able to attend weekly meetings at our Seattle site. This role is required to be onsite for group meetings, trainings, and 1:1s. Additionally in person meetings with clients is expected.

What You Will Do:
Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Search for / "hunt" and develop new broadcast and digital business and grow existing digital and traditional radio business
  • Prospect and identify marketing revenue opportunities across digital and traditional media, secure meetings with high-level decision makers and influencers, create broadcast and digital sales packages, present to clients, and close the sale.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with decision-makers
  • Create holistic digital marketing solutions with the ability to manipulate and calculate pricing structures utilizing CPM (cost per thousand) and CPC (cost per click).
  • Create fully integrated marketing campaigns using over the air and digital platforms to deliver strong ROI
  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual budgets across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain a full sales pipeline and CRM (Client Relationship Management) activity.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance professional skills and overall understanding of evolving media.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
  • 1-4 years of inside sales/outside sales, or customer facing roles (retail, hospitality); media / digital sales
  • Resilient, coachable, and driven by results
  • Passion for professional excellence and integrity with a positive attitude and proven initiative

Preferred sales skills:
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable meeting new people and asking thoughtful questions.
  • Ability to prospect new business, overcome objections, and have courage to ask again.
  • Ability to interpret statistical data and optimize campaign performance.
  • Ability and willingness to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments.
  • Creative problem-solving and consultative selling approach
  • Tech-savvy with CRM, sales tools, new technologies.
  • Understanding of digital platforms, marketing and analytics and how to optimize client results.

Physical Demands
  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation Range
This is a 100% commissioned role, with an initial temporary minimum commission guarantee.
