Role: UKG-Kronos WFM Scrum Master

Location: Pleasanton, CA.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with experience managing UKG-Kronos Workforce Management (WFM) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, experience with UKG projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide and support our development teams in delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to Agile principles and best practices.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and transparency within the team.
  • Track and report on key metrics to monitor the team's performance and progress.
  • Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment across the organization.
  • Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge and experience implementing UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions), UKG Workforce Central, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of Boomi and integrations between UKG and other 3 rd party systems.
  • Good knowledge of WFM, preferably in healthcare.
  • Should have worked on UKG projects and familiar with execution of UKG projects.
  • Knowledge of UKG Pro WFM application will be considered a huge plus.
  • Proven experience in the full life cycle of a project, including gathering detailed requirements, developing designs, and delivering solutions.
  • Excellent consultative and communication skills to interact with business users and client management.
  • Ability to work in complex technology environments requiring multi‑product solutions and product integration of legacy systems.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum processes and Waterfall methodologies.
Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000/Year to $162,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
