OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
Rosewood Kona Village's Spa Attendant will work together with the Spa Supervisor to provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival, offer guests amenities, stock spa supplies and keep guest areas well maintained and clean. This individual will ensure the highest level of personalized, friendly and outstanding guest service that exceeds expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are "wowed" by Rosewood at Kona Village's hospitality
โ€ข Interact with guests always displaying proper etiquette following Kona Village standards
โ€ข Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, exercise area, lockers, etc.
โ€ข Provide amenities to patrons, i.e., towels, soap, etc.
โ€ข Perform opening duties: Unlock exercise room door: turn ON all lights, fitness equipment and television. Check room temperature; fill fruit bowl: waters; teas; and place newspapers and magazines in fitness area; etc.
โ€ข Maintain spa facility by performing necessary duties including picking up towels, cups, tidying/mopping shower and bathroom area, vanity, lockers and all spa areas to avoid the creation of slippery surfaces
โ€ข Remove used linens and robes from all spa areas, wash and dry massage robes
โ€ข Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner offering the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
โ€ข Ensure Closing duties are carried out: Turn OFF Jacuzzi, steam and saunas; turn OFF all equipment in exercise rooms; refrigerate any fruit; ensure that all amenities are restocked for the following day and lock and secure all areas
โ€ข Organize, store and present all operational products from both vendors and warehouse
โ€ข Keep guest amenities stocked including water, body care products in locker rooms and relaxation room
โ€ข Assist in handling guest complaints and requests in a professional and timely manner
โ€ข Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
โ€ข Ensure total compliance with Rosewood Baha Mar's standards of operation
โ€ข Recommend tactics to consolidate and streamline guest operations
โ€ข Stay current on spa best practices and industry trends
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
