Job description

The Shipping & Fulfillment Manager owns Craft a Brew's outbound shipping operation from order to doorstep. This is a hands-on role at the center of our daily operations: you'll manage order processing across all sales channels in ShipStation, and you'll pick, pack, and ship orders each day alongside an assistant order packer who supports the station. Our cartonization and rate-selection automation handles much of the routine decision-making — your job is to verify its output, catch exceptions before they become problems, and keep a high-volume, multi-channel shipping station running accurately and on time.

The right candidate takes pride in running an efficient station, sweats the details on order accuracy, and enjoys work that combines systems management with physical, tangible output.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily order processing in ShipStation across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and wholesale channels
  • Review automated box-size and carrier-rate selections for accuracy before orders are processed, printed, and packed
  • Pick, pack, and ship daily orders with a high standard of accuracy and presentation
  • Direct the daily work of an assistant order packer, ensuring packing quality and throughput stay on target
  • Resolve shipping exceptions, including address issues, lost-package claims, tracking inquiries, and replacement orders
  • Monitor ShipStation automation rules and flag opportunities to improve speed, accuracy, or cost
  • Maintain shipping supply inventory (boxes, mailers, void fill) and reorder ahead of demand
  • Support inventory accuracy by flagging stock discrepancies and assisting with counts
  • Scale the operation through Q4, when order volume roughly triples

Qualifications

Required:

  • Hands-on ShipStation experience: processing orders, working with automation rules, and shipping across multiple carriers
  • Shopify admin experience: fulfilling orders, managing fulfillment status, and working with order data
  • Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel order fulfillment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent, reliable attendance
  • Ability to perform sustained physical work, including lifting and moving product and standing for extended periods

Preferred:

  • Amazon Seller Central or Walmart Marketplace experience
  • Experience with carrier claims or rate management
  • Interest in homebrewing or craft beverages

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $23.00–$27.00/hour, depending on experience
  • Overtime pay during Q4 peak season
  • $100/month healthcare stipend
  • Employee discount on Craft a Brew products

How to Apply

Submit your resume through ZipRecruiter. Please include a brief note describing your hands-on experience with ShipStation, applications that address this will be prioritized.
