The Market Research Analyst is responsible for managing residential pricing programs, rebates, channel pricing strategies, and business intelligence reporting. This role supports the Residential Sales organization by developing pricing recommendations, administering rebate programs, analyzing market and customer trends, and delivering actionable insights through Tableau and KNIME-based analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and data visualization expertise to help optimize pricing strategies, improve profitability, support distributor relationships, and drive data-driven decision-making across the Residential business.
You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
Pricing Management & Strategy
  • Manage and administer stock price change requests for Residential products.
  • Determine stock pricing recommendations for new product introductions.
  • Develop and maintain distributor pricing strategies, including module-based pricing structures.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and profitability assessments to support business objectives.
  • Lead pricing reviews for new retail price requests and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support implementation of retail price increases and monitor pricing effectiveness.
  • Analyze market conditions, competitive pricing, and channel performance to support pricing decisions.
  • 'A' module strategy/price tiering assignments

Rebate & Program Administration
  • Manage quarterly rebate and CCR (Contractor Conversion Rebate) program updates.
  • Ensure rebate calculations, reporting, and program compliance are accurate and timely.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance rebate administration efficiency.
  • Maintain program documentation and reporting requirements.

Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Build and manage KNIME workflows to automate data collection, transformation, and reporting processes.
  • Analyze residential sales performance, pricing trends, rebates, and program effectiveness.
  • Create executive-level reporting and KPI scorecards for business reviews.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis and market insights.
  • Integration of AI related activities to the business

Program & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage and support the Certain Path Program and associated business initiatives.
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, finance, product management, and operations teams.
  • Act as a key liaison with the TEA team to identify automation, reporting, and analytics opportunities.
  • Participate in business process improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and strategic business initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or Mathematics.
  • 5 plus years of experience in pricing, business analytics, sales operations, finance, or related roles.
  • Experience working with pricing models, rebates, and channel programs.
  • Experience developing dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Technical Skills in Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Tableau, KNIME Analytics Platform, Data visualization and reporting
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or MBA
  • Tableau Certification and KNIME Certification
  • SQL, Power BI, SAP, Snowflake, Salesforce CRM and Python.

The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
