We are looking for a Systems Engineer - Configuration Specialist. This position will be based at Peachtree Corners, GA.
In this role, you will serve as a Manufacturing Knowledge Base (KB) Lead supporting low voltage power distribution products. You will drive configuration accuracy, digital engineering integration, and product lifecycle enhancements while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This position plays a key role in improving operational efficiency, reducing errors, and enabling scalable product configuration across digital platforms.
You'll make a difference by:
  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing knowledge bases, including BOMs, routing structures, and product configuration rules for engineered electrical products
  • Managing 3D CAD digital twin logic and ensuring alignment with engineering BOM and configuration systems
  • Supporting product configuration processes for internal teams and customers, improving accuracy, usability, and overall experience
  • Analyzing and supporting pricing and costing structures for engineered-to-order product families while enabling data-driven decisions
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales teams to implement enhancements, new product introductions, and lifecycle updates
  • Leading configuration and knowledge base releases, including change management, version control, and system integration with enterprise platforms such as SAP and CPQ tools
  • Troubleshooting configuration issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting Agile development practices to enhance system performance and reliability

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with the following:
    • Power distribution products, electrical standards (UL, NEMA), and construction markets (residential, commercial, or industrial)
    • Manufacturing processes including bill of materials (BOM), routing, and discrete engineering principles
    • Digital engineering tools such as SAP, CPQ platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel-focused data analysis and reporting)
    • Software development lifecycle concepts (Agile and/or Waterfall) and configuration-driven systems
    • Data analysis, problem-solving, and strong communication skills within cross-functional and technical environments
  • Travel as needed to support business and project requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a discrete or make-to-order manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Java, or Visual Basic and data processing/automation tools
  • Experience with CAD applications such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo (Pro-E)
  • Knowledge of ETL or analytics tools such as KNIME or Tableau for data visualization and insights
  • Experience working with SAP Variant Configuration, CPQ systems, or enterprise product lifecycle management tools

The pay range for this position is 68,830 - 117,994 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
