Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians for projects throughout the Las Vegas area. This role will focus primarily on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and security alarm systems in commercial environments.


Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
  • Install and service security alarm systems, access control, and CCTV systems.
  • Pull, route, and dress low-voltage cabling.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform device installation, programming, and system testing.
  • Conduct system inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to local codes, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades on-site.


Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with low-voltage systems.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with burglar alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
  • Ability to pull and terminate low-voltage cabling.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Fire alarm certifications (NICET, ESA, manufacturer certifications, etc.).
  • Experience with commercial construction projects.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with systems such as Honeywell, Notifier, Silent Knight, Bosch, DSC, Brivo, Lenel, Genetec, or Avigilon.
