Job description

Summary:
The Facility Kitting Associate is responsible for the assembly of high quality kits created for emergency situations. This position requires an individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced clean work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pick, package and shipment of medical supplies
  • Follow all work instructions / procedures
  • Follow all ISO documentation
  • Adhere to all manufacturing best practices
  • Assist with unloading freight shipments utilizing the forklift (after required training) and or pallet jack
  • Process orders through FedEx and or other approved carriers
  • Adhere to all regulatory procedure and guidelines
  • Verify items for accuracy
  • Assemble kits as directed in manufacturing area
  • Maintain and update a record of the necessary components for each type of kit
  • Additional job duties as assigned
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of experience in warehousing preferred
  • Experience with personal computer equipment
  • Experience driving a forklift or other equipment is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and individually
  • Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long continuous periods of time
  • May engage in repetitive motion
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance; ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet
  • Ability to continuously lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 50+ pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Schedule may vary based on business demands and will require a combination of office hours as well as work performed after hours and/or weekends at times.
